On May 12, more than 200 guests celebrated Bpeace’s successful 2010 DanceGiving FUNraising campaign at the City Winery. We raised much-needed capital to expand Bpeace programs. Celebrity auctioneer Willie Geist from MSNBC generously lent his smile and good humor to Bpeace for the second year.
The night was high energy with salsa lessons, dance performances, and lots of networking facilitated by the donation of the vodka bar by CROP. Generous guests boosted what had been raised from more than 1,000 online donors with a silent auction that included a trip to Vancouver, tickets to Daily Show, golf at the Congressional, and even time with a Casting Director.
Funds raised through DanceGiving are a critical portion of our annual operating budget. There is a lot of thanks to give. And below is the video to prove it. Thank you all!
