Join Bpeace
Bpeace believes that you can be 1 part in helping to create 1,000 jobs in 1,000 communities in countries affected by conflict. One job changes more than one life. Those 1 million jobs bring bright new possibilities.
You can be 1 person to pull the plug on violence.
To join, make a membership commitment. Your commitment level is based on your own philanthropic goals and the amount of dues you opt to pay either monthly or annually. We choose not to offer additional benefits for higher dues because we like to treat all members the same and make membership affordable. The tax-deductible monthly dues contribute nearly 5% of our annual budget and provide Bpeace with the working capital we need to operate in Afghanistan, Rwanda and soon a third country.
As a member of Bpeace, you become 1 part of the collective talent and network that allows Bpeace to carry out our mission. You join a non-profit international network of ordinary and sometimes extraordinary businesspeople, who volunteer their skills, time, talent, connections or money. Read what our members say about us on GreatNonProfits.
We put your skills and industry experience in the Talent Bpeace Database and you’ll participate in a teleconference orientation with Toni Maloney, our Co-Founder and CEO. We help suggest volunteer teams and/or opportunities that appear to be the best match for you and your availability to volunteer. You can contribute zero to 100% percent of your time; about one-third of our membership is highly active.
Volunteer opportunities change and new ones always emerge. Volunteer “jobs” fall into three different categories: 1) Assisting our Afghan and Rwandan entrepreneurs from a distance; 2) Performing a task like marketing or research that keeps Bpeace itself growing; 3) Fundraising by participating in one of several events throughout the year.
You can be one person who helps create 1,000 jobs in 1,000 communities, and help us to create 1,000,000 jobs that mean less violence.
